Thus far, our publishing company has been active exclusively in the publication of scientific books, namely in the field of Law under the firm Hippasus Legal Publications. Since 2019, we expanded our work and proceeded with the publication of plays under the new tradename Hippasus Theater, the publication of historical works under the tradename Hippasus History and the publication of studies under the tradename Hippasus Studies. Our goal is to further expand the spectrum of the works and the books that we publish in the near future. Our brand name comes from Hippasus of Metapontum, the ancient greek mathematician, who, according to the tradition, disclosed secrets of Pythagoreanism (the pythagorean philosophy) and was thus murdered by the Pythagoreans. It is the symbol of our commitment to the diffusion of scientific knowledge. Our mission is to provide, as much as possible, the opportunity to renowned writers and scientists, as well as to younger writers and scientists to put up and diffuse their knowledge. Along with our support to the writers, scholars and researchers, we pursue a development of the writing of research books and studies. We aspire to continue our contribution in the production of books and works which excel in content, quality and design with the aim of promoting/encouraging science, art and culture.
